Who we are
Dasma Design Lab is the web and marketing department of Dasma, a print and copy business based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For anything in this policy, write to contact@dasmadesign.com.
What we collect
- Enquiries. The "Let's work" form runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us until you choose Send by email or Send by WhatsApp, which opens your own mail or WhatsApp app with the message pre-filled. When you send it, we receive what you wrote: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the services you are interested in, your goal, budget range and timing.
- Direct contact. If you email, call or message us on WhatsApp, we keep the correspondence so we can reply and keep track of your project.
- Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read and how fast the site loads. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device and shows us aggregate numbers, not individual visitors.
- Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Fonts. Our typefaces load from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies. We store one small flag in your browser's session storage so the opening animation plays once per visit; it is deleted when you close the tab and is never sent to us. Because we set no cookies and use no tracking, there is no cookie banner to click through.
How we use your information
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, deliver the work you commission, invoice you, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. We rely on your consent when you contact us, on the contract between us once you commission work, and on our legitimate interest in running and securing the website.
Who we share it with
Only the providers named above — Cloudflare for hosting and analytics, Google for fonts, and Meta if you choose to reach us on WhatsApp — plus our accountants where invoicing requires it. We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within twelve months. Project correspondence and invoices are kept for as long as UAE commercial and tax law requires, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email contact@dasmadesign.com and we will respond within 30 days. We handle personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR also apply, and you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Correspondence is kept in access-controlled business accounts. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Children
Our services are for businesses. The site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
